Top grade saffron possesses a deep red color and is dry to the touch.
We grade Saffron via laboratory measurement for color (crocin), flavor (picrocrocin) and aroma (safranal) content. For instance samples will get grade by gauging the saffron's color content. The higher color content signifies a greater color concentration and intensity.
